About Strasburg
Strasburg is located along I-70 in both Adams and Arapahoe counties. It was the location of the “joining of the rails,” the actual last link in the coast-to-coast railroad network in the United States. This network was completed in August 1870 with Strasburg as the Denver extension of the Kansas Pacific Railway.
Strasburg is a place that still has the “down home” lifestyle in the ever-growing state of Colorado. Many love to call Strasburg home due to the close proximity to Denver, laid back atmosphere, affordability, and abundance of custom home options.
Downtown you can find shopping, restaurants, and bars perfect for a night out. Nearby there are plenty of recreational activities including fishing, boating, camping, and birdwatching at Barr Lake State Park. During the year, the community stays close with events such as Strasburg Hometown Days and Christmas caroling with hay rides in the winter.
