Sedalia is located in Central Colorado and is part of Douglas County. While new home developments are under construction on either side of Sedalia, the tiny community has managed to keep many of its quaint qualities. Several older buildings and homes remain in the area and a few craft shops and restaurants are all within walking distance of the town's heart.
Those seeking outdoor adventure will enjoy spectacular fly fishing along the South Platte River west of Sedalia. There are also many hiking and biking trails as well as camping facilities throughout the Rampart Range in Pike National Forest.
Roxborough State Park is a geological site with wildlife and hiking trails overlook red-rock formations.
Cherokee Ranch features a natural environment, wildlife, and 22 historic structures.
Daniel’s Park is a 1,000-acre park set on a high mesa with a rustic shelter & views of canyons & roaming bison.
