Palmer Lake is located in El Paso County, Colorado. Palmer Lake is one of three communities in the Tri-Lakes region between Denver and Colorado Springs, consisting of Palmer Lake, Monument Lake, and Lake Woodmoor. Not surprisingly, the area is known for water activities and an extensive trail system.
On the high point of Palmer Divide, Palmer Lake has sweeping views of the Rocky Mountain foothills from Denver to Colorado Springs. A parks system offers opportunities to hike, bike, or play a round of disc golf. The downtown area hosts restaurants, local stores, and a museum. Located off Interstate 25 near two major metropolitan centers, Palmer Lake is a growing community on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.

Palmer Lake Parks and Trails includes Centennial Park, Columbine Park, Glen Park, Creekside Trail, The Village Green, and Greenland Open Space.
