REcolorado Market Watch: Denver Metro Area Weekly Housing Market Statistics: October 12, 2020
The market continues to be active as compared to this time last year. Sellers brought 1,396 New Listings to the market last week, 6% less than the previous week, but still 16% more than we saw this week last year.
The count of Pending Listings was 1,483 last week, 4% fewer week over week, but 39% higher compared to this week last year.
Last week, there were 1,068 Closed Listings, 19% fewer than the previous week and 5% more than this week last year. This was the lowest count of Closed Listings we’ve seen since mid May.
The Median Closed Price for homes was $481,000, relatively unchanged from the previous week and 15% higher than this week last year.
On October 19, the count of Active Listings was 5,218, 3% lower than the count of Active Listings pulled on October 12. This is the lowest count of Active listings we’ve seen since stay at home orders went into effect earlier this year.
The median number of days a listing was in the MLS was 6 days. Days in MLS was unchanged from last week, and 12 days less than this week in 2019.
