Leadville is located in Central Colorado and is part of Lake County. With an elevation of 10,151 ft., Leadville is considered the highest city in the U.S. It is a former silver mining town that lies in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, offering spectacular views around each corner. 

 Just 20 miles from downtown Leadville, at the base of Independence Pass, is Twin Lakes. Here you’ll find world-class fishing and spectacular lake and peak scenery. Twin Lakes is close to the trailhead of Mount Elbert and the Interlaken Hotel historical site where several trails run through the area. It’s a true small-town American West experience.
