Henderson is a small community located in Adams County, Colorado. It was the first permanent settlement in the South Platte River Valley between Fort Saint Vrain in the Nebraska Territory and the Cherry Creek Diggings in the Kansas Territory. Along with a post office, the Henderson Congregation Church – which has been in existence for over 100 years - stand as the last remaining vestiges of historical Henderson.
The Riverdale Golf Course is a Scottish style links course that is situated along the Platte river.
McIntosh Dairy has been family-owned and operated since 1906 and is protected by the Trust for Public Land.
