Frederick is located in Weld County, Colorado. It was named for Frederick A. Clark, a land owner, by his daughters.
The town of Frederick began as a coal mining town, attracting immigrants from Italy, France, Greece, and Turkey. Visit the Miners Memorial Museum for a peak at the town’s history. Dacono and Firestone are immediately adjacent to Frederick and Longmont is just a 20-minute drive away.

Crist Park is situated at the entrance of Downtown Frederick and features a playground, picnic area, splash pad and more.
