Castle Pines is a quaint city located in Douglas County, just 20 miles south of downtown Denver. With an easy commute to Denver and its surrounding communities, many people choose to live in Castle Pines for a quiet home life that is still close to neighboring towns. Castle Pines is home to 5 parks and 14 miles of paved trails. Walking, running, and bicycling are permitted on trails, however, horseback riding and the use of motorized vehicles are not allowed. There are several horse farms and ranches in the area. Also, as mentioned above, Castle Pines is home to a handful of public and private golf resorts.
