About Mary Ann Michels
Raised in Bismarck, North Dakota, I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Textiles & Clothing Design. After becoming a regional manager of a national textile corporation, I moved to Fort Collins in 1988 to run the Western region of Northwest Fabrics. In 2008, I found my muse as a Realtor and have not looked back! My husband, Peter Stackhouse, and I have two adult children. Max is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, and works as a computer programmer. Our daughter Tess, is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and is working on her doctorate in Neuroscience. Although we are empty-nesters, we enjoy having my 101 year-old Dad living with us, as he is a true gentlemen with a great sense of humor to always brighten the day!
