From the very beginning in 1966, homebuilding was more than a business to us; it was a passion fueled by deeply held beliefs. Tom and Caroline Hoyt believed that we can build a better world by rethinking the very nature of community, and that philosophy continues today. We create places where people feel more connected to each other and the natural environment. Neighborhoods became our canvas, our art form for expressing these beliefs. Over four decades later, we still think we can change the world for the better.
We have learned a lot since then and know that there are intelligent alternatives to urban sprawl. Our way of thinking – the why behind the what – directs our building practices, architecture and community design. It’s what sets us apart and makes our homes and neighborhoods uniquely McStain. Our Mission… Expanded We’ve been on a mission to build a better world for a number of years, and while we recognize this statement impacts all of us at a global level, it also affects us on an individual basis as a homeowner. From that perspective, it’s about building a healthy, energy-efficient home that accommodates the needs of you and your family, and brings you closer to your neighbors and the natural setting of the Colorado Front Range.
