Wheat Ridge

Only 5 miles west of Denver, the suburb of Wheat Ridge is full of tradition. Once known as the "Carnation City" for being the largest producer of carnations worldwide, Wheat Ridge is a great place to live and is only minutes away from both Denver and Colorado's great outdoors.

The park is where residents go to have fun hiking with friends and is a peaceful place minutes away from anywhere in urban Wheat Ridge.

The city of Wheat Ridge also has one of the more impressive recreation centers around. The 70,000+ square feet space includes indoor and outdoor pools, 18 ball fields, eight tennis courts and features classes catering to and equipment designed for the physically challenged and senior citizens.
